Living above circumstances

A life dream includes relationships that are easy, natural and meaningful.  When it comes to accomplishing dreams, most people use force, hard work, drive and fear to make it happen.  We love the approach of doing the internal work to live our dreams, and feel the ease and rest of co-creating with God.

How can I feel secure, compassionate and free even while facing a contrasting situation?  When someone in my life feels heavy, unhappy and negative, how do I remain strong in my feelings of joy and peace?  A high level relationship skill is to be able to calibrate your thoughts and feelings to your choosing. Do you want to feel hopeful? Do you want to feel content and peaceful every day?  Your thoughts and feelings create an atmosphere that is powerful and contagious.

Yes, we were created to observe and experience life with our five senses, and our physical world, but this can throw us into a downward spiral if circumstances are negative. Become aware of your choice to anchor your thoughts and feelings to your inward person, your secret place, where you commune with God and everything that is well and good. This isn’t denial, but rather agreement and security from your source, the One who made you and the One who loves you unconditionally.   Listen to His voice in your heart, and calibrate to how He feels about you!

When it’s dark, we don’t use our physical eyes to see, but rather feel our way around.  Airplanes can’t see in the dark, but they use sensors to find their way.  We have sensors! Find your way to mercy, contentment and replenishment.  Seek your way to feelings of life and hope and you’ll come back to life!  Life becomes easy cooperating with God!

Under the influence of circumstances

It’s easy to feel lost and desperate when circumstances are turning against you. This is when we are influenced by other’s comments and negativity, and we begin to low function. Your strengths are overused and they turn into weakness. Are weak tendencies and insecurity turn into sabotaging the moment.

Under the influence of God’s view and opinion

Syncing with God’s strength tells you you’re not alone.  Instead of letting circumstances move you and direct you, your connection to God and His promises for you will build you up, and you will be calibrated to your desires instead of calibrated to your fears.

God has an opinion. And it’s wisdom and strategies, peace and joy, and possibilities and hope.  Every time.  He’s a redeemer and He will lead you to rest.  That’s why He’s the good shepherd who leads his sheep to quiet waters and green grass.  But we have to do the work of calibration and labor to his place of rest.

We can’t be lazy and sloppy with our thoughts and beliefs. And we have to continue to feel love and  mercy to those around us, in order to calibrate.  The difference is, you’re not loving out of your own strength, but because you are so loved by God, your source, you are able to love naturally.

Re-calibrating can feel like tumbling down a ski slope and trying to stop.  Getting ahead of situations and choosing before you enter them, can be a smart strategy.  Then you’re not caught off guard!  We have a natural rhythm of re-calibrating when we sleep.  Each morning we are invited to a new beginning, and new choices.  Most people don’t take advantage of this, and tend to face reality and have the same discussions in the same environment as the day before.

Consider making a plan to wake up tomorrow - smiling and ready to love those around you like you’ve never loved before!  Consider being sensitive to other’s needs, pleasant to be with, and overflowing with thankfulness.  Calibrate to thoughts of simple things that make you happy, and give them a lot of attention.  Decide to hang out with the One who loves you the most...God might be invisible, but He’s available as your best friend.
