It’s about to get BETTER

Do you want this next year/ season of your life to be different?

Do you want your relationships to jump to a new level when it comes to kindness and connection?

You are telling yourself stories all the time. About your life, your family, and your relationships. You are talking to yourself about how you’re treated, how life is working out for you, and how much God’s presence is invading your life experience.

Are you ready to revise your story? Your content can be improved and life can get better and better without anyone or anything changing in this physical world! If you want “new”, start by telling yourself the story of this past season. Use your voice, talk out loud and describe the narrative.

The things I’m most thankful for this past year are…

My greatest challenge was…

The lesson I was invited to learn was…

Some of the most fun I had was when…

If I could give my year a theme it would be…

You can tell your story from the lens of your choice. This last year could have been one of your worst or one of your best. This choice changes your trajectory of the future. There is no right or wrong way to tell your improved story where it gets better and better. But choosing a new lens will result in the future that keeps getting brighter and brighter. Keep telling stories about your relationships, your past, present, or your future, by telling a better-feeling improved version of your story. Tell it the way you want it to be.

Every time you tell your better-feeling story, you will start to feel better and the details of your life will improve, the better it gets, the better it gets.

Proverbs 4:18

But the lovers of God walk on the highway of light, and their way shines brighter and brighter until the perfect day.

Proverbs 21:21 TPT;

The lovers of God who chase after righteousness will find all their dreams come true: an abundant life drenched with favor and a fountain that overflows with satisfaction.

“For me, it’s laughing and fun. Instead of telling my story like a factual documentary, weighing all the pros and cons of my experience, I tell the uplifting, wonder-filled, fanciful story of my life to myself. The story changes right in front of me with the lens I choose! My deliberate alignment to “righteousness” is “as it should be”.

I notice when things go well!

I always find what I’m looking for!

It always works out in the end!

I watch for evidence of that - and I see more evidence every day! I like understanding that things and circumstances are always changing, and while there are things that could be better, it’s not a problem because where I am is constantly changing to something better and better. As I look for the best things around me, those things become more prevalent in my experience.” (Audrey)

Life is supposed to work.

Warning: Continuing to tell yourself and others story of shortage, what you don’t get enough of, what you don’t have enough of, all the ways your life is NOT abundant… that just contradicts your desire to live the abundant life we were created for.

You can’t focus on UNWANTED and talk about what’s UNWANTED and receive what’s WANTED. Different stories bring different focus which brings different results. It’s not your job to transform the world for others, but to transform it for you.

You are meant to succeed, and failure should feel bad. Life is supposed to go well, and when it doesn’t there’s something wrong! But what’s wrong is not outside of you, where you have no control. What’s wrong is within me, and I do have control. This is empowering! Taking control is not difficult when I know who I am in Jesus. When I am secure in Him, I can take captive every thought, align them with righteousness, and watch the laws of God work for me.

We will all reap what we sow.
